Ok, the seller is a top five star, I also understand spending a lot on a Zap 82' (no however 200 bucks as someone asks on ebay…) 100% complete, mint and with immaculate thumbs. But how is it possible to spend almost $70 plus shipping, for a loose Snow Job? In the same lot the seller has placed a Cobra Soldier 83' completely yellowed for 50$. Is this normal according to you? When I started to recollect G.I. Joe, more than ten years ago, a complete and loose Snow Job cost a maximum of $20.

I imagine that a lot of people have turned back to vintage collecting now that modern lines have long dried up.

Ebay prices have gotten crazy. I looked up night force figures awhile back and was floored what the actual sold as prices were.
I still think you can find deals out there, people on ebay are just getting nuts.

That seller also has a tendency to get really high prices for his stuff. You'll often see him sell a figure for an absurd amount while the same figure in same condition from another seller sells for a fraction of the high price at the same time.
(As an example, he got $20 for a complete with filecard 1991 BAT and I won one a couple of hours earlier for $4.) Some sellers just attract higher dollar bidders than others.

YES THIS! I have NEVER understood how on earth the Seller "mohrmbm" gets the amounts he gets for his items. It defies logic. He continually gets amounts that are 2-3 times what other sellers get, or more. Initially, I thought it was because it was stuff from his personal collection that maybe was in way better shape than what other sellers offer. But then I caught him reselling items that I had tried to purchase in a lot from a different seller a week or two prior. This guy is just another scalper-reseller, and I don't understand why buyers fall all over themselves to hand this guy their money.

I run a store on eBay myself, but I keep my prices very reasonable. Due to this I sell quite a lot of figures, but don't make a massive profit on each one. As a collector myself I get more of a kick out of selling a great quality figure to someone who will actually enjoy it rather than knowingly ripping people off. Some sellers list figures at over double what I list them for, but I'll only charge what I legitimately think a figure is worth and I always have a bit of movement if people want to buy a few figures at once. I always make a point of combining postage and offering a postage refund to buyers who buy multiple figures individually even if they don't ask for one. It's really more as a hobby than a business, but it's one I really enjoy doing!
