The crane's engine cover would be economically doable. I was going to say the railing would probably be too expensive to print at a retail shop because of its bounding box size (basically, the overall footprint size)...but after seeing what people are asking for the fantail rail I could make that at a savings as well. I would guess it would end up in the $30-$40 range which looks to be around 1/3rd of the "recent sales" prices on eBay.

I think I paid $25-30 for a repr fantail rail and engine cover. I do need to find a repro mast cap. I should finally be moving my USS Flagg out of the garage into my office next month after my son ships off for basic at Lackland. Once he moves out of my office, I'm going to focus on making a custom 2 or 3 sub-level base for the Flagg. I may even re-do the deck stickers using Rattler Repros as I wasn't impressed with ToyHax (Cobra Stickers) deck stickers. One thing I did to my Flagg was apply the "99" deck stickers in the correct "real-world" position. Jason |
