Hi, I would like to know, who produces the best KO carded original Joe's (82-85) and what would be a decent price (range).

I don't know of this existing. I'm not aware of any knock offs done, unless you count funskool. Those are done for a foreign market and I'n not sure how many of those would be 82-85 (especially that you could still find on ebay).

What I should of said, on Ebay, I see carded figures (like storm shadow for $75, and Crimson Guard for $50), these are mint cards with supposedly mint figures and accessories).

Probably re-carded. You can get new custom made card backs and bubbles and put vintage figures in them.

Yeah I've been buying a few recards on Ebay, usually from the same seller (he has lots of the Black Major stuff). They're fantastic quality.

It seems like a lot more re-cards/customs are being nefariously pushed as authentic. Someone needs to make a buyers guide with pics of tells like the bubble waffle and discoloration etc.

Yes, those are the ones I have seen on Ebay. Black major, are they worth buying or is it better to use the kits that goin'commander suggested?

Lady's choice: If you want a recard and have the skills and figures; do it yo self to save the $ and enjoy the experience. If you have Chris Farley hands or don't own a decent grade figure, pay someone else for their labor and supply(the figure).

Yeah I don't have the patience for arts and crafts, unless it's to open something that's rattling around and reseal it. Most of the recards or customs I've purchased have been between 50 to 100, which, if it's good quality, I consider a great deal. There's a guy that does Star Wars recards and even includes acrylic cases. So, 150 for a custom Droids cartoon Boba Fett in an acrylic case? I'm in!
