I was fiddling around with my v3 Psyche-Out (Super Sonic Fighters), and I thought trying to complete the figure with all accessories would not be so easy since he has 11 (including his figure stand). Thankfully mine was complete when I acquired him. But 11 is quite high, there are many figures that only come with 1-3.
I started to wonder which figure in the original run came with the most accessories. I've found both 1990 Metal Head and 1990 Capt. Grid Iron top out at 14 accessories each. Does anyone come with more? |

Metal Head would have been my guess! Hard to top him due to all the missiles. 1990 was peak accessories.

Closest I can get off the top of my head is Downtown with all those missiles, he would tie Metal Head if you dont count the hoses. To me it would depend on how you count those little black hoses which are easily replaced with newer stuff and were a pain to play with. Metal head might get the lead numbers, but when I look at it from a play perspective the missiles just add to a number and not play value. Play value wise a figure like 89 Stalker or Tracker take it because the accessories actually add to a characters play variety vs. just numbers.
I have a Topside with only two red missiles and I have no desire to burn any calories tracking down the third one just so it can roll around in the display case or sit in a bin. Why did he have the third anyway? It's not like Hasbro was in the habit of tossing in extras of the tiny parts. He's not complete from a collector standpoint, but as a toy he's good to go. |

I believe Salvo also ties at 14.

My first thought for "most accessories" was Sub-zero, simply because he has so many small parts that are so easily lost. I never sought a complete one, but I've gradually built one from lots. The only thing missing is his machine gun. Oddly enough I have even have the bipod! How someone managed to keep that and not the gun is beyond me. |

Yea, sure, why not. But as has been mentioned, even though he has a lot of accessories, he is relatively easy to complete since a lot of them are the same (mines, missiles). If you take someone like Sonic Fighters Psyche Out, almost all his accessories are unique, so it would be more difficult to complete, even though he has fewer overall accessories than someone like Salvo or Metal Head.
