I've used all three, each have pros and cons, but nothing that would prevent me from using any of them.
Delivery time and cost are my major factors. Rattlerrepros has low costs, but the shipping time sucks. ToyHax has pretty decent turnaround shipping time, but are a little more expensive. They also do a lot more customization on their sets. TF Kingdom is right down the middle, both cost wise and with shipping. I've noticed their decals aren't as bright as Rattlerrepros.

Hey,
Can’t comment on the wing issue but was very happy with Cobrastickers set for the Sky Striker. See the link below for my restoration pics. The Sky Striker in in the vintage joe restoration 1983 album towards the bottom of the album page. Best of luck with your project. At first I was only interested in modern Joes and thought the past was behind me. But after retrieving my old toys out of my mother’s attic due to the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, I was hooked on vintage restorations. It’s amazing how the old memories of playing with the toys as a kid comes rushing back to you as you handle the old toys. |

I have been restoring my GI Joe and Cobra figures for the past week. I’ve replaced several O-rings, used Salon 40 to perfectly bleach put yellows from figures, and have each and every weapon to over 100 ARAH figures. Everything is great except for one thing: the Timberland Stalker, or whatever he’s called. Lol.
I saw a post about removing the back screw to a Timber Stalker figure. I don’t think the issue was resolved because someone called out the original posting member for being rude. Anyway, I’m having the same issue with mine. I need to remove the back screw so I can replace the O-ring and to do some yellowing removal. The problem is that it’s locked. There’s no rust, either. It’s polished and original from the factory. It’s also not stripped. The head looks perfect. I might try some WD-40. It’s possible that something is in the threads preventing it from being taken out. Basically, I need suggestions. Once that O-ring goes out in a few years (it’s loose at the moment), I’d like to be able to replace it. Again, any suggestions would be great. |

I'd try lubrication first, but if it still won't release, you may have to drill it out.

My Father's Day vintage Skystriker present is now complete! It started off in great shape to begin with. Basically just did a removal of the old stickers, a good scrubbing, new Toyhax stickers, a stand from www.ebay.com/str/displaystandsdirect & it's like new. YO JOE!

That looks amazing! The cockpit looks crystal clear, is that vintage? I didn't think it was possible to have a vintage Skystriker look that good. That stand is really sharp too, I'll have to check that store out. |
