So I got my General decals from JRuben. I also decided that since the General shares the same wheels as the Rolling Thunder, I put on the Rolling Thunder hub caps...

Great Job Xero. I have been meaning to do the General for about two years now. It's just so damn big. Lol
Here is my recent resto just waiting on decals now.

Xero and TJF, those look great. Those were two vehicles that got a lot of play when I was a kid. I played with both literally until the wheels feel off. Now I just wish I had the room to get my vehicles out of storage. Again, both are awesome and you make me want to break out my ARAH stuff

I've never posted pictures of my restorations before because I never take any. This one was special though. A while back I bought a Sky Raven on eBay and sent it's shell out to be re vac metal plated. I have the before pictures from the eBay auction and the after pics that I took after an extensive (And expensive) quest for missing parts.
Sorry if my pics aren't the best. my camera is pretty old. It also might have helped if I dusted the Sky Raven. |

It was $50 to have it done plus the cost of shipping it.
The gentleman I was in contact with cut me a deal because usually the minimum order from their factory is $250. |

Looks amazing. That jet is one of the last I need to have them all... and it's going to be expensive.

Even with the time and cost of tracking down all the missing parts and having the plane re plated I think it's cheaper than buying a mint complete one.
