Hi all
Am I crazy or is the plastic from the reissued Joes from the Real American Collection 2 packs softer than the plastic of vintage joes? In particular, I see a difference with the hands and grip strength. The vintage joes had very stiff hands that held weapons quite tightly (but were also more brittle and tended to snap). In contrast, the hands for the RAHC joes are so soft and pliable that I have a hard time getting them to grip their weapons. Does anyone else have this issue? Any recommendations to fix it? I've resorted to sticking a small amount of poster putty in their hands to make the weapons stick. |

Most of the ARAHC had softer plastic fore arms, except Wild Bill and Lamprey. Most people saw this as a good thing, because vintage arah had broken thumbs a lot, maybe even more as they age.
Most 1997-onward vintage-style figures have softer hands. |
