Could you explain you better? I don't get whether you ask for the value of those figures or for the value of their preproduction test shots.

I have been searching for that set of Crimson twins for years. I am not a preproduction or prototype collector But I have always wanted those figures. I have passed on opportunities to buy some other early pre production stuff including a really nice one up of Wildbill and Gung ho that I never looked back on but these and the TTT Sarge from the commercials are grails for me.

If you're talking simply complete, released figures in good shape, hold on till you see cobra commander for around $20 and the twins around $15. Sounds cheap, but if you're patient, you'll get them. Granted, that's here in the US, I can't speak for Italy. Preproduction? Impossible to say. Get in a bidding war, and what they sell for is what they're worth! Either way, if you really want that nostalgia, that's no dream, that's a goal! I once had 500+ complete figures and 50+ complete vehicles until a fire prompted me to prioritize and downsize. I do still have all 3 of those figures, well worth having! Stop dreaming and make it happen, man!

Sure they exist... in private, personal collections. Gary Goggles Head was really into that type of stuff and knew a lot of people that had them.
The guys over at Declassified bring out a lot of stuff during JoeCon, etc... On Facebook I was personally offered to buy a cancelled, preproduction vehicle and the seller wanted like 2-2.5K for it. Would be nice, but I'm not that type of collector. I'd start with the Declassified guys... they might be able to tell you if they are in someone's collection and if they are for sale.

Declassified has that hand-painted CC i believe. Think I saw it a few years ago at JoeCon.
Let me amend that: Declassified is curating that piece i think. |
