Anyone know what good modern arm to use to replace a broken left arm for the old Ambush figure?
Would a 50th Anniversary Rock Viper work? the uniform clothing is about the same for the Rock Viper and close to the same old color and design for the old Ambush figure. |

I didnt know you could do this. The FSS Ambush would likely be the best modern replacement from wjat I can see. Are you just replacing the one arm or both? And why spend the money on a modern figure when you could spend half as much to get a vintage Ambush for spare parts?

50th Rock Vipers are selling for $14-$17 right now. 1990 Ambush figures sell for $4-$7 (a handful available at $6-$7 BiN right now, at least one with a Best Offer option). You might consider selling the Rock Viper and buying an Ambush. You'll have extra Ambush parts plus a few bucks in profit.

Are those parts even compatible? Am I missing something here? You want to put of 50th Rock Viper arm on a vintage Ambush?

O.K. my concept of cheap might be a little off right now since I am chasing night force and the intn'l figs, but Ambush isn't that pricey and it has to be cheaper than using a modern figure. Go cruise a flea market and you should turn one up for a few bucks. That said, sure Rock Viper should work fine. I would like to see the pics when you're done too.
