Access to the front landing gear on a Rattler is achieved through the following means:
-Remove the nose cone -Next, remove the sticker that is on the upper nose of the Rattler -Take a screwdriver and stick it in the nose part of the fuselage and pull gently until the fuselage pops in half (not too hard as to avoid breakage though) -You should now be able to remove the front landing gear from the Rattler (in addition to be able to remove/reattach a gatling gun to the Rattler in the same process)

What glue did you use? I tried Testor's in the red tube, that doesn't work at all. I breathed on it and it broke off again.
I snapped the rear landing gear off on my vintage Rattler last week. This was inevitable, as the opening was so tight that it was popping off it's hinge and forcing the bottom pan apart from the main body. I am in the process of carefully sanding down the opening where the gear retracts. I opened up the bottom pan to remove the landing gear. It works great now on the one that did not snap off. Now I need a good glue to fix the broken one. |
