1986 Cobra Viper question.

I noticed some of the 1986 Vipers rifle either come in black or white. Is this a norm. I thought they only come in one color(white). TIA

I've never seen a black one, maybe it's a repro? The only official one I know of is the light gray one (Looks white in most pictures)

never seen a black one with a regular Viper.

The black rifle would have come with v2. The Python Patrol Viper.
All '86s would have come with the norm white/grey rifle

The 1989 Phthon Viper came with a black version of the rifle, and there was a dark/charcoal gray version that was released with the Battle Gear Accessory Pack #5.

They used the same mold, so there shouldn't be any noticeable distinctions save for any minor imperfections in the plastic or the molds themselves.
