Lets have it what line is trully better the original 82-92 line or the 25th tru excluded all i got to say is these thumbs don't bend !!! i mean come on if you got some 80's figures don't you check the weapons its unsettling to know that someone could so easily replace major blud's rocket gun with one of the million repros out there i mean come on the only thing bout the 25th line that looks cool to me is the chrome face on one of 50 cobra commanders available. But the whole line lakes that campy fine construction frail symbols and the treat of breaking thumbs and crotches there not the same the plastic is too playable and the character is in the org figures these wont be worth there weight in plastic in 20 years ! But that's my opinion i grew up with Gi Joe & don't like change !

Oh, right, forgot. Joe sites don't use punctuation. My bad.
But to answer your question - I love the 25th/Modern line because it's just that - Modern. It holds the standard of what action figures should be like for the times. If the 80s Joes came out today, they'd look ridiculous and cheap. However, I love them and still hunt them down from time to time. |

I'm glad I can come home and flip a switch to have light when it's dark. I could grumble about why I prefer candles but that would be pointless, wouldn't it. All things have their detractors. The Classic line isn't without them, but it's a great update to a great product. I loved the old figures and still have some that hold a special place in my heart. But I much prefer the new line. I'm not less of a fan nor am I offending the GI Joe gods wherever they may be. I am simply enjoying the new product I am getting.

both lines have their strengths and weakness's but overall they are both great lines, while i favor vintage, i cant knock the modern line because it is a great line. lets just leave it at they are both cool.

Look if they were at least running the original cartoon series or had more that that pretty cool resolute movie that aired at 12pm, which made little sense to me? I would give them some props but when my friends kid dose'nt even know what gijoe is, and ben 10 is the first thing he runs to in tru what the frack! There's nothing to get the kids involved that's what made joe so great all the kids i grew up with new who wild bill was and snakeeyes and that there was 3 versions of him and so on. Now a days you can pick how many of different versions of snakeeyes, and how many repaints can one company do its overkill there ruining the line, sorry but its a fact. My biggest problem is why tweak greatness just because you always wanted to take the gun out of gun-ho's leg holster. Its not an homage its marketing and it stinks!

Always bothered me that Gung Ho and Roadblock were as big as Tunnel Rat and that the ladies were all generic. Like I Said, when I was a kid it was passable. Now it's laughable. I love the nostalgia, but that's it. The new line it how figures should be....why wouldn't Hasbro update them?

Because there's no wars in the back yard gijoe parties wheres the joe table clothes and ice-cream cakes that's what makes them so cool we would play for hours days weeks even who's playing now 30 year old's come on these don't bring that out in kids now they look like marvel legends figures and no matter how many pivot points they put in them no 25th figure can touch his toes!!!
