Just got my repo parts from hotdogs_stuff and I am thrilled. The visors look great!. The extras were a nice surprise as well. I needed a Mainframe phone.

Yes, they really look great. I don't know this guy. What is the site? Do you know if he ships international?

Are they distinguishable from real parts? otherwise that is kinda scary for serious collectors.

The weapons and mics/hoses have a different feel. Harder and not nearly as flexible. The visors are a bit milkier but certainly will fool most anyone. Some of the visor imperfections could be passed off as age/wear. I myself was am having to keep track of which one of my figures I put a real visor on and who has a repo. The Grand Slam is original (some slight yellowing) the Hawk is repo.
The vehicle parts are the same feel as the repo weapons. A bit harder and heavier. The key to those, or at least the ones I got a hold of, is the slight color variation. Sadly, I am sure people will be selling and buying repo visors passed off as originals. However, I am sure this is already happening with other accessories and parts. Finding truthful sellers is the trick. I am pretty sure some "original" Star Wars stuff I have are repos. I used to be opposed to buying reproductions of any kind but a lot of my vehicle stickers, after thirty years, were simply looking awful and disintegrating then it just grew from there. Restoring was becoming painfully expensive, trying to hunt down any needed original parts. My VAMP cost me more to restore than I could have spent on a complete one. Original clear visors were hard to come by as well. $10-$12 for a single one was killing me when I needed three. I have an extra HAWK figure because he was cheaper with cracked thumbs and visor included than a single visor alone. I got him for $5.99 plus $3s/h.
