Anybody on here use the Rattlerrepros stickers on their Flagg? I used the set from Cobra Stickers (before Toyhax) and was a little disappointed in the deck stickers. Since Rattlerrepros offers certain sheets individually, this would be a great option.
I noticed, though, that the deck stickers are actually precut vinyl. So, I'm just curious how they look (besides the sample image on their site). Same thing with the "99" stickers. If anyone can post pics that would be greatly appreciated. Jason |

I posted this in my project thread, but I figured I would repeat it here in case there is any interest:
Models of the retractable arresting cable sheaves used on aircraft carriers are available now, if anyone wants to enhance their Flagg: Single Pair 3-Pack of Pairs These are based on reference photos of the arresting cable sheaves used on Nimitz Class aircraft carriers. The 3d printed parts are designed to allow string or elastic strips to be installed by running it through the opening and then attaching it to the center post in the inside in one of a few ways:
For reference:

Also, I have had a request to make a ICCS "bubble" available, possibly using a deck clip location so I would model a deck clip onto the bottom of the bubble to keep it in place. If this was to be done, it would be strictly decorative (no functioning hatch), it would be done below true scale (to fit on the Flagg which is itself not true scale), and it would have either just window frames without glass OR it would be totally opaque window panes - I can't print clear glass on these. Even scaled down, a print this size and shape would probably not be cheap because it will take up so much machine space in the printers (and Shapeways charges a LOT for machine space over a certain threshold). So before I spend any time modeling a bubble I wanted to get a pulse from you Flagg owners. Would you personally have interest in a 3d-printed ICCS bubble for your catapult station?

I personally wouldn't, no place to put it.

I've never seen one of these before! But then again, my research into aircraft carriers is very limited. I'm guessing the ideal place, if you are incorporating a deck clip into the design, would be to set the "bubble" in the middle deck clip of the front deck plate. Is this correct?
I could see a "bubble" going there and relatively being out of the way enough to set up a jet against the blast deflector. Not sure what "scale" you'd have to make this to match the Flagg, but I found this link to a 1:350 scale https://www.shapeways.com/product/K5...itz-class-iccs Jason |

On another note, I was so excited to finally get my office back in my house once my son shipped off for USAF basic training at Lackland. I had these big hopes of setting up my USS Flagg in my office, but dang does a display table take up a lot of room!
Guess, I'm going to have to go to plan B and just build some kind of plexi-glass type cover for my Flagg and leave it in the garage. I really want to make a customized 2-level sub-floor for my Flagg. This will probably be my summer project. Jason |

On the real carriers, the ICCS is between catapults 1 and 2, a bit forward of the jet blast deflectors:
So while the middle clip location of the front deck plate is about as accurate as you can get for the side-to-side location on a Flagg, it's also waaaaaay forward of where it should be and it ends up right smack in the middle of the only launch lane you actually have. It would actually be most accurate about mid-plate where there are no deck clip locations, but since the Flagg only fits one Skystriker at the catapults you'd have the bubble right in the way there. I was thinking of cheating it off to the side in this location instead (I "borrowed" this photo from google image search): If I fudge the scale enough, I'm thinking it could fit there without running over into the landing area. But then again, if I skip the deck clip mounting idea and just let people sticky-tack it on there some place then nobody is forced into those few mounting locations. Trade customizable location for durable installation or vice versa? Dunno, just seeing if it's even worth looking into. Keep the opinions coming whether supportive or not. I need data points.

Zap, that's the location I meant. I don't know why I said "front deck piece." I meant right in front of the blast deflector.
I think the concept is cool, but given that I didn't even know about this bubble until this post, I'm not sure how important it would be for me to buy one. Jason |

Tried doing gijoe vs transformers on my flagg. Guess it’s a little busy when there are so many figures to use
