I would say that since it is nearly 30 years old and will NEVER be made again, I would think that you would be able to get it scanned as long as you get ONE copy and tell them that you wanted to simply make a poster to hang on the wall of it and then say "because I won't be able to put the box on the wall and don't have enough room to display it".

I think it was a different one. It was sold at $285 + $40 shipping. It looked good, several broken pieces, but had the purge valve, mic, both radar dish antennas, I think all deck clips, truck and gas cart were complete but the connector was broke. It was a good buy, although those broken parts will eventually need replaced as they were severe. Does the mic work?

I just picked one up from Craig's list for $225. Only a few parts missing the helm, one radar dish antenna, rear handrail, crain engine cover, one deck clip, the sound system and keel haul.

Congrats! Was that a local find, or do they still have to ship it to you?

Hey everyone,
I just got in last night my deck pieces and frames that I got off of e-bay. I am having fun putting piecing this together the last several months. Based on the list of parts for this vehicle/playset, I think I am about 65 to 70% there with only the smaller parts now to find. I have a question for you all, I notice that the clear plastic covering on the deck numbers was wrinkling but the big number decals themselves were flat, unalted. Is this plastic cover supposed to be fussed to the sticker or could it be removed? Not going for mint as the rest of the build needs modifications to make it the ship functional (broken tabs and such).
