Framed it all with 2X4's and three sheets of plywood for the shelves. Just some basic pine boards to trim the outside of the three shelves. 2X4's might have been overkill to be honest because it weighs a ton. I got some of those furniture sliders in each corner which helps, but it still sucks to move. It is in a room in my basement and its so big it wont fit through the door............oops

uss flagg mic | eBay And the Fan tail. I'm assuming your talking about the aft fantail railing. It goes for on average between 60 to 100 dollars for the real ones. You have to be careful with these because fakes or reproduction's are sold on ebay. Pay attention to the wording in the auction description and also the picture. If you unsure post the auction here and we can help you. Here is a completed list of what they have been selling on ebay for uss flagg fan tail | eBay |

Has anyone ever come across the tray for the blast shield that fits into the flight deck? I have the blast shield, and the support arm, but I don't have the tray. I could have sworn I saw it floating around in my parts bin, but now I can't find it, and no luck at any of the conventions I've been to since acquiring my flagg. Currently the blast shield is being supported by some tape from the bottom.

If you buy one, make sure it works, and that the batteries hadn't been left in it to corode...that's the biggest problem with a lot of the battery operated vintage Joe stuff
