anyone needing Flagg parts, don't give in to the hype and buy them at top dollar! I took my time over a few years and found everything I was missing for good, if not awesome deals. I found the big top missles in a loose parts bin for a buck each. You just have to know what you're looking for / at. Also, people list things on ebay, sometimes mispelled, etc. I found some like that too. As far as the speaker, if you don't care about it being original, you can still get the same, old speakers to put on your handlebars. The sounds are different, but the rest is the same. I bought a broken Flagg one, one of the others, and got a buddy that is good at soldering to swap parts. Viola! A working Flagg speaker for like $40. Check ebay religiously. sometimes people don't know or care what's it worth and if you're first, you win...

Yup all masterpieces except for devastator.
Yeah I got my mic off eBay for like ten bucks because I found it listed as a bicycle accessory. |

White paper stickers with an adhesive backing are used along the interior window edges to secure them in place. It’s lasted for over a decade with my children playing with it, so I think I got it right. The trickiest part is to bend a fold or “break” at just the right angle in the areas where the windows turn in direction (fortunately there are only a couple of places where they have to do that). Maybe this isn’t what you had in mind, but this is what it looks like:

Thank you for responding! I too thought of using old plastic toy packaging sheets but I wasn't sure how to glue it to the Flaggs windows without using some glue that can ruin the toy. I saw this video on YouTube, some guy named Michael Mercy and he has what I think maybe the same plastic you use. The difference is that if you look closely at the inside of his bridge he does not use white tape. Somehow it looks like its just hanging there perfectly without any adhesive. I have been breaking my head trying to figure out how he accomplished that. It looks great too.

The custom windows on my USS Flagg are made from heavy stock plastic toy packaging sheets cut to size from product packaging which I threw away long ago.

Hey all, I finally picked up a FLAGG early this year. It was mostly complete but didn't include the string for the crane. Does anyone have tips on how to go about sizing a replacement? I do have the arrestor string, is it the same type and diameter? Thanks!
