I own a complete USS Flagg as well. Once I get my new house built, I will be able to re-assemble it.

Cobra Stickers is legit. They were very responsive in communications on helping me with my problem with my Flagg sticker. They have earned my trust and respect and I will be buying from them again soon as a loyal customer.
I can't wait to restore other Joe vehicles in my collection with their stickers. That being said, anyone have a Flagg microphone battery cover for sale or Keel Haul's gun?

As I've said before, I am a partial USS Flagg plank owner. I set out to build Flagg's superstructure. I don't have the space for a whole Flagg and figure that if my kid uses it, the flight deck can be the floor or a table. Here are a couple of photos of my superstructure bottom, which I have modified. Yes, I cut the bottom off! This modification may be sacrilege to some, but it was necessary for my intentions. Styrene sheeting will complete the deck that would be provided by the flight deck section. More to follow as progress is made.

Here's an update of my progress so far on my USS Flagg island. Most of the paint is finished. I am waiting on a few parts to complete the interior and then I'll need a flag, complete mast assembly, and six missiles. Interior photos to follow.

That looks so nice
It is a real treat to see your work especially. I've never seen any pics anywhere on the Internet of a painted Flagg, much less a properly painted one. Q: the black painted lower level . Is there any timeframe where this was done on US carriers? Also, what is the exact reason for this ? I'm assuming it's to hide discoloration caused from jet exhaust . Is that correct? |

Hey guys, try photoetch to add fine details to your Flagg.
Scroll to the bottom (of the site above) to see how model hobbyists add incredible detail to their plastic aircraft carrier models. Here's a site which directs you to skilled modelers and local closeby IPMS organizations near you = IPMS/USA | IPMS/USA Regions and Chapters Last edited by Tuskegee Joe; 02-13-2015 at 01:44 AM.. |

Sweet pic. I've always wondered how big in scale the Defiant was next to the Flagg. Thanks for posting!
