It's a 6ft table I got at Home Depot for 19.99 but its a few years old. You can't see it in the pic but the stern section is sitting on a desk behind it as the table wasn't long enough.

I was hoping to get away with using a 6 foot table, but I guess I'm out of luck.

Building a table for it is the way to go. I looked and looked for one that would work at retail, no dice.

I've read through most of this entire thread and I don't remember this topic being brought up. Are you aware that the USS Flagg that appears in all the original ads is different (prototype) from what was actually produced?
One of the most obvious differences is that the prototype has these long skinny seam cover pieces as opposed to the small clips that came with the actual toy. The stickers even go over the seam covers. It also looks like the "99/66" number on the deck may have been painted on. Any other notable differences here? Anybody got any more info on the prototype? Good eye. I've noticed the numbers before but not the seams. It also looks like the hull area is different, especially where it juts out on the landing strip. I wonder what became of this particular one...

I'm getting closer and closer to completing my Flagg! Unfortunately the pieces I need seem to be the pieces that are pricey and sometimes hard to swallow. If anyone has any of the following pieces, please send me a pm
Y-Pins x 2 - repro? Microphone - doesn't need to be in working order, willing to repair Missile x 1 Tow vehicle seat Tow vehicle engine cover Fan tail deck railing - repro? Arrestor cable & hook Door Mast cap - repro? Last edited by Maximus; 07-16-2014 at 06:54 AM.. Reason: updated parts list |

I have read before that Peroxide strips off a fine layer of the plastic and no matter what the yellowing will return.
The only thing I can think of is after you get it white again, spray a layer of clear coat over it.
