Not a great pic as it's from my phone. Excuse the piles of stuff to be gotten rid of in the background.

Finally got mine set up last night. I was overseas and it was sitting in my parents house waiting to be let out. It was missing a couple of small pieces but nothing I'm worried about. The rail on the back and a two of the barrels of the cannons. I'm not usually one for directions but i couldn't figure out why my deck would line up and then I moved the support beam under and all was good. I have to say I'm pleased. Right now I only have a skyhawk and an eaglehawk on deck. Planning to get maybe one more eaglehawk. I have a small 2 bedroom apartment and it took up a good portion of the spare room so I'm going to have to downsize my fleet starting with ground vehicles. And also skystrikers. Should have done this for Toys for Tots. Going to change the mission capabilities of my joes similar to that of Marines but I will still keep my TRU C-130.

Hey guys! Guess who finally found his Ass-End of the Flagg and set it up for a pic!?!? ME! I picked this up after Joe Con 2008. There was an older lady walking around the convention and asking the dealers if they would come take a look at what she had to possibly buy it from her. Most brushed her off since they were from out of town, but I jumped on it. I called her the week after the con and set-up an appointment. I went over and was able to get some pretty good stuff for a great price. These Flagg pieces were in the lot that I bought. She said she had a closet she needed to unpack and to call her back and ask if she found the rest of the Flagg. After follow-up calls of 2 weeks and a year later, no dice. So, this is all I have for the Flagg at the moment. I'd say it's still a pretty good start! There was even 1 deck clip!

I had to put mine away at my parents' place this afternoon. I never had the space for it in my apartment so they were more than willing to store it. Back in the summer, my dad pulled it out of storage to surprise me with and it's been set up ever since. I did at least get to sort out which parts are missing or broken on it though.
One quick question; how important is the microphone set and the deck railing? The microphone just isn't something I care about and the railing is obviously almost impossible to find. I've heard of it being considered complete without either of those (and the figure, for that matter) but is that a realistic assumption? |

Hi there everyone! My Flagg has finally arrived!! Condition-wise its not too bad. My radar antenna is broken so I've have to find a way to do some perma-glueing. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!! But seriously, after me and the missus put this bad boy together, the sheer size and length really blew us outta the water!! Now we need to find a permanent place to dock this bad boy. I'll be posting pics up in a bit.

I obtained this USS Flagg for $300 back in September 2013. It is pretty much complete. I was surprised to see the fantial railing, purge valve and the complete mast. It also came with 11 extra deck clips. The only things missing are the Y-pins and the speaker and microphone. The crane engine cover looks to be a reproduction. But I am not complaining.
Now this Flagg occupies the extra bedroom/video game room in the basement of the house. Having four boys, they think it's the coolest thing in the world to actually own one of these. The only complaint--when the wife tells me to break it down and store it when guest come over and stay in the extra room. Last edited by goldenhawk; 01-27-2014 at 01:12 PM.. |
