Greetings fellow FLAGG owners! I have just completed the last piece of my collection by starting the New Year off right with a FLAGG of my own! Any advice from any of you would be GREATLY appreciated.. especially the cleaning of said item. I hear of a peroxide treatment to fix yellowing? Is this true? Im not 100% complete, bout 80%, & will be looking for a few pieces in the near future. But this is more about the experience of setting up a FLAGG as opposed to doing it quickly.
Thank you |

I haven't cleaned mine yet but you can clean the tower with the treatment. I like the dirty look but that is just me.

I know this isn't the exact location to post this up but since this is the USS Flagg thread I wanted to share and get an idea.
After I got my Flagg I wanted to look at Hats and maybe a T shirt to wear as a proud Flagg owner. I've seen a handful of the knock off US Navy Flagg hats on Ebay and they go for some scratch. I've never seen a Flagg shirt and decided to make my own. A good friend of mine owns his own buiz and makes shirts. I took the Flagg box art and cleaned it up. I then made a logo for the left front breast. I could have put name and rank but I liked the crewman. Here is what the shirt came out looking like: So what do you all think? I think it turned out great. Far as cost it'd be about $12 plus shipping for XL and smaller. More for a larger person. |
