I'm getting ready to show our house which means the Joe collection is getting packed up. I'm saving my Flagg for last. Every time I take it apart I'm worried that something will break. At least the next time I put it together it'll have a new home!

Yeah I don't really want to put something flammable on my box. Maybe the hair dryer will work.

RBelieve me I do appreciate your help. And I might try it if the hair dryer doesn't work. This tape is really dry so I'm doubtful that it will come off without use of a solvent. But I'm going to try. Thanks for the advice.

Keep us posted on the results! I'd hate to think that a USS Flagg box is partially ruined due to something as unfortunate a duct tape.

Anybody know the dimensions of a set up Flagg? I know it's 7.5 ft. Long, but how wide is it? I want to buy a table to display my Flagg, but I need to know the minimum width I can get away with.

The other day I bought a USS Flagg for $50. It's missing 3 parts(mast cap, tow vehicle, and the 2 Y-pins). All the parts that were white are now yellowish. Is there anything special to clean off the yellowness or do I have to paint it? If so what paint is best to make it look good and stronger?
Thank you |
