Waves 14 and 15 were never officially announced or shown by Hasbro. It's your own fault if you take everything that pops up in unauthorized internet leaks as gospel. It sure as heck isn't a "promise" from Hasbro that such products are going to be available. (And people wonder why Hasbro doesn't like these leaks?)
Go picket at Wal-Mart. It's most likely their fault, anyhow.

I've read the original post in this thread several times and I Still don't get what's being asked or see a catch 22.

I dont want a playset that big either. I'd settle for an improved Terrordrome or the MCC reissue.

Somebody do some math. How many new un-released figures can you make with the plastic wasted on the PITT! Hasbro coulda made us another 7 pack for us to buy and we woulda bought that alot faster than this Travishamockery!

1. Catch 22: In a nutshell, what we buy may factor what we may get in the future. If retailers see the Pitt sell, they'll welcome large vehicles like the often talked about Flagg. According to an article I read years ago, Hasbro can track specific movie product, thus, indicating what they will produce for years to come. Example, the successful ROTSith movie in 2005, Hasbro tracked that Obi, R2, and Vader figures flew off shelves. It was to the point they sent entire boxes wholly of those 3 figures alone. And, if you look at the immediate following waves, a greater variety of those same 3 figures were made available for the fans in their immediate future.
2. The Question: The question is, if we apply the above logic in the success of a specific movie product deciding what we'll get in the future; and the Pitt does NOT sell, what does this spell for the future of large-scale vehicles like the Flagg? This spells doom. The irony and Catch 22 is that we do have an eager demand for huge vehicles as attested by constant questions and mention of the Flagg. Further attested by the great reception for those huge JSI F14 jets, the BMF, and constant talk of those big BBI planes in 1:18 scale. People want big realistic vehicles. They just do NOT like the Pitt, per se. Thusly, I'm asking people to think of all these factors by just taking a second look at the Pitt + Flagg. In fact, ask yourself honestly, would you look at the same beloved Flagg with the same nostalgic emotions; if it were boxed in a glaring "neon" green SigmaSix-style packaging; as seen in the Pitt's backdrop box art? On the flip side; how would you look at the Pitt if it were presented in a classic ARAH-style box like the RCC vehicle?
So what I'm asking is for us fans to creatively think and look at the Pitt and Flagg in literally a different light and literally different color. Maybe its just the packaging, the patriotic colors of ARAH versus the glaring neon of recent packaging. Thus maybe its the way we think and the way we see things, colors. I'm not asking people to buy it. Just to try it. Try looking at it in a different angle, color, etc. Wear a red, white, and blue shirt. Then wear a bright neon green shirt; that screams "Sigma Six." People and even you will look at yourself in a different light just by virtue of the colors you wear. With all this said. Any talented Tankers in here who can quickly design an ARAH-style box for Pitt and a neon green SigmaSix-style box for the Flagg? Its worth a shot. Maybe even worth a Flagg in the near future. Who knows?

Every should buy ALL the Pitts that they find... then 85 days later, return them all for a refund.
Wal-Mart and Target has a 90 Day policy.
F* them and their games.
Looking for: 1x ROCC Missile

Death, taxes, and a new FLAGG. What do these have in common?
Seriously, no matter how much we want a Flagg, is isn't going to happen. The PIT is a terrible looking playset. If anyone buys it because they think it will get a Flagg made, then some people have more dollars than sense. If you really want a Flagg, get a vintage one.
Good example - http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...age-flagg.html

I didn't read all the posts, so if somebody has already said this...
The real Catch 22 is, if we all buy The Pit just to support the line, Hasbro will think we want this kind of product.
I actually think The Pit is kinda cool. I just don't think it's $100 cool.
I would have preferred a static base with at least three levels and a helo pad on the roof. Computer stations, motor pool, stockade, etc...
Looking at The Pit, I do understand the play value in it. The idea that it's mobile opens up more play possibilities. The top is supposed to be ground level and it has a ramp that can be propped on a coffee table. There's a few levels with lots of accessories. I think one thing that would have made this better would have been an area on the bottom just big enough for a vehicle and a ramp out the back. That would have made it a little cooler for me.
The Pit is just as good as Castle Greyskull and WAY better than Cobra Mountain. $100 is pushing it for me though.
Looking for at reasonable prices:
25th Defense of Cobra Island 7-pack, PoC City Strike Destro, Ren Storm Shadow
