Kb toys was great. Always had some gems in there, from gi joe to micro machines. I do miss that store. Toys r us had the selection on lock though. I could just sift through so many different figures on pegs. I believe I even got joes at k mart back in the day.

I got a lot of my figures from Gold Circle, simply because they were closer to my home than any other store. I distinctly remember my cousin and I both hiding some Airtight figures in the store, but when I went back later, the one I hid was impossible to get to. So I took the one my cousin hid. Man was he mad. I also remember going there with my older brother once and seeing a v.1 Storm Shadow and a v.2 Snake Eyes, but he wouldn't get me either one. To this day I still don't let him forget that.

I'd have to say Consumers, Toys Galore, and Toys R Us.

I always liked the places that seemed to not get a lot of traffic. The Lionel PlayWorld near me was next to a Toys R Us, so they were never very busy. Because of that, they had a lot of the prevous year's stuff still in stock. I remember finding the Mobile Command Center there in 1991. There was also a small store called Cornet Variety that also was a few years behind with their Joes, so I could pick up the stuff I missed. Cornet also had MASK still on the shelves years after the line ended.
