I just received a Cutter who had cracked off a piece of his thigh in transit. That was a weird injury. Not as weird as this Zap leg, though.
The pic doesn't do justice to how crooked that thing is. Still tight, though, for some reason.

That stinks! I love my vintage ARAH Joes but so many of them are just broken junk anymore. Now- my vintage StarWars stuff... outside of some sever yellowing those things are damn near indestructible! I've got a Bossk here at my desk i play with all the time that looks like he just came out of the package!

I learned a while ago to not even try putting ANYTHING in the straight arm figure's hands. Just two months ago I got fed up with replacing O-rings and boxed everyone up.

I've had the heels on Stalker and Zartan just explode after being on a stand for a few days. I don't really mind the broken thumbs as much, because all of mine broke when I was a kid too. Why the hell was the handle on the uzi that came with the Iron Grenadier so thick?! That probably cost me about five thumbs alone. That's why I liked some of the repaints we got around 2000. The forearms were a bit rubbery and the thumbs had some give to them.

Someone told me years ago to store them in a cool area. Since then I've had no issues with any figures breaking. The straight arm ones I just don't put the weapons on.

I have this super minty Cobra Officer and I was even afraid to put his AK-47 in his hand this way, never mind putting the stock behind his arm, haha.
