I bag up all my extras and label the bag with a year and the figure it came with. One bag for each figure. I will dump all my extras for that figure in that bag. Then I separate them in drawers by year.

Similar here. I use snack-sized bags and each figure I own has their own where I store them and all of their gear when not on display. When I do have a figure on display, as most of mine are, they still have their bag with whatever gear I wasn't able to put out. The bags all have tags inside denoting the character name, version number, year, as well as a brief description (useful for identifying all of the similar dukes / snake eyes / etc. without having to go to yojoe to verify). Then, in totes, I have all of my figures grouped by character. I have a small tote, for example, that has about 40 ziploc bags, all with identifying tags, just for cobra commander.

I paint little Tupperware boxes up like US army logistics containers and use them when I set up a base, the gear is right there with the guys.

I have clear containers that are sold at jo-anns ,michaels ,meijers etc that have 1 lid but many chambers to hold multiple sizes of parts etc plus plastic shoe boxes and pencil boxes for other stuff i have stacks of containers and i even have little containers for small stuff, bags deteriorate and get holes be organized so you can see your stuff at a glance . I think those of us that store it like i do know exactly who or where all those parts came with/from and know all the parts they own for the most part anyway . Bags thats for extra stuff that doesnt go with your good stuff :(

What section do you get those in? Automotive or fishing? I've been looking for something like that. Nice and flat so they don't take up much space. |

I use the plastic parts drawer wall boxes that you get at home improvement stores. They have either large or small drawers or a combination of the 2. They work great.
