A few years ago I got a Mail in Slugger for only 10 bucks from Ebay. I am tempted to open that up and put it together.

It was like me when I assembled the Takara Rattler and it was fun! Funny how Scott mentioned assembling his as well, both of you guys got them from me Haha thing is, they've come up in value quite a bit so I'd think twice about assembling it lol

Being an opener, I am happy to see you set it free. ;)
That being said.. IT'S SO SHINY! I miss the smell of good old hasbro plastic.. and stickers that actually stick.. makes me want to buy a new one. The only Wolverine that I have ever owned is from the Comandos em Acao line. It was given to me from a friend back in the day, who was from Brazil. That is also how I got my Cobra de Aco. Still have him and his filecard as well.

I keep trimming and trimming and trimming my collection. I honestly can't see myself parting with this unless I "have" to.
I could see myself parting with about everything except my wolverines, sky hawks, Awe striker, ferrets and a hiss tank or 2. I still have my awe, ferret, wolverine and sky hawk from childhood. They have been repaired or made complete by now, but I have a strong attachment to them. Since discovering cobra stickers years back...I am now happy to have American, Canadian and Japanese versions of the Wolverine and sky hawk on display, and i think they all look lovely!

Very cool. I have to be honest, I rarely buy anything MIB or MOC, or even on the card unless it is a good deal. I get the collector value in them, but toys are meant to be "played with", whether you line them up and make pew pew noises, or just pose them on a shelf.
