Actually, it has been documented that sub-lines like Battle Corps and Star Brigade helped extend ARAH's life who would have disappeared by the end of the eighties. For more info, you can check out the Joe Declassified website, they have interviews with ex-Hasbro employees about the subject.
Anyway, back to Battle Corps. It was a catch-all line created by Hasbro to regroup all the figures that did not fit into their other sub-lines. It did not have any mission statement or affiliation (Cobra had Battle Corps as well) and never appeared in any fiction as far as I know. OB

As a kid growing up watching ARAH re-runs in the late eighties, early nineties Battle Corps was the only way for me to get similar versions of some of my favourites like Destro, Cobra Commander, and Duke.

OB I was an army kid, and gravitated toward the more army colored early figures. The neon wasn't my thing. That said, your modern adaptions of these old BC figures made me look again at many of them. |

I was the only one of my friends still interested in toys when Battle Corps came around. Although the colors were awful, the figures themselves were fantastic reimagining of classic characters. As mentioned in the FSS thread, BC Dr. Mindbender was an awesome figure, as were many other BC offerings.
