Hi everyone. My name is Yojoe, and I am now a Terrordrome owner.
I never thought I would ever own a Terror Drome, but after my collection had been stolen, I came across a seller who was getting rid of his. It took a lot of patience and coordination but eventually I was able to retrieve it, clean it, and even display it. My wife even said "oh, the way you had described it, I thought it would be bigger"-this might be the only circumstance in which a man takes satisfaction in hearing his wife utter this statement. It is now the proud centerpiece of my collection and I even made a Custom Professor Appel to command the day to day operations of the base. Please enjoy the photos attached.

Well, I lasted posted in here nearly a year ago, after I picked up a Terror Drome at the KY Joe show. The poor thing sat neglected in my laundry room as I had a couple of comic collections to process, a huge G1 Transformers collection to clean up and sort through, etc. I'm happy to say that, at long last, I got this one cleaned up and reassembled, and managed to do it without breaking anything! I was sweating bullets when I popped the walls back into the tabs but luckily nothing broke. Cleaned the whole thing with Dawn, a couple of toothbrushes, and some clorox wipes. I decided to leave the original stickers on as they really aren't too bad, and I didn't want to have to deal with Goo Gone-ing this whole monstrosity. There's a mark on the front that looks like a burn/melted spot, I may try sanding that. But in the meantime, I'm good with what I've got.
This year's Joe expo is next weekend, so I'm hoping to pick up some Ferrets, Claws, and maybe a stun, as well as some Vipers and Televipers to get it fully staffed. Love having this thing. I didn't have one as a kid, but I had a friend who did, and it was such fun to play with. What a beast! |

Looks good. The wipes didn't hurt the paint at all? I just finished a multi level underbelly for mine.

I only used the wipes in a couple of spots where the toothbrush/Dawn wasn't getting it, which were a couple of spots that looked like maybe crayon or whiteout...I'm really not sure. And they also helped me get up some of the grit in the little stair steps on the bottom level that the toothbrush missed the first time around.

I became a proud owner of a completed terror drome on ebay. Had to beat 45 other bidders to get it though.

I am picking up a near complete TD this week, found it locally on Craigslist. Condition appears to be good based on photos, slight yellowing on the top along with a few broken tabs on the base. I'm paying $175....is that a good deal? Seems to be worth it, but I wasnt sure.
