Is there a use for broken figure parts? Specifically broken waist/crotch pieces? As I'm going through my collection I'm trying to pull out all of the battle damaged figures, isolating the broken piece. In addition to a large pile of body parts, I find myself with a few cracked limbs, some missing thumbs, and a larger than I hoped pile of busted crotches. Before I toss all of these busted parts I thought I'd double check and see if anyone has come up with a use for them. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sell them or trade them. A busted original crotch is better than no waist piece.

Yeah, sell or trade.
Some people have also turned their old broken joes into ARAH Zombies as well.

I guess I wasn't sure if people would really want them. I guess I'll lot all my broken pieces together and go from there. Thanks guys!

Cracked elbows around the rivet aren't a big deal to alot of people. Those arms should be good either way.
Busted crotches can be repaired with apoxie-sculpt for customs. |

I'll take them off your hands if you do not want them. I only collect/customize with ARAH parts, so if you are getting rid of them PM me so I can give them a good home.

Oh yeah. Parts broken or otherwise are very valuable to customizers. My son dabbles in customizing some figures and the use of epoxy and super gles with paint apps really covers the breaks well in most cases.

I'll definitely make sure I put a post together or pm a fellow tanker when I've gotten through all my parts. I'm glad I don't have to toss them....that wouldn't have been easy.
