I've wanted one of these since they came out. Kinda forgot about it for awhile, then I was window shopping on ebay and found this sealed buy it now, cheaper thant they go for loose.
Bagged, now if it was a cool box, I may have left it, but who wants to look at a baggie with crumpled blueprints? Pieces on the trees: Off: The decals appear to be fairly close to the original's release: Begining assembly: Taking the rear wheels off because you need to put the exhaust on first... The only thing I don't like abotu this is that it's the Karate Chopper remold with the stupid launcher and the missile posts relocated. Base of the gun platform still has the 1994 date stamp: Assembled: I also picked up a 2004 Convention Zarana, but she hasn't shown up yet. In the meantime, here's 1993 convention Zarana with the bike: Come to think of it, that missile launcher really blows. Here's the gun from the original (dyed) and acc. pack missiles from the Triple T. The grey is almost an exact match: |

Parts comparison.
I don't know what happend between 94 and 2004. Did Funskool use this mold? The front forks mold is really degraded and almost looks like a bootleg. From left to right, Original, Karate Chopper (painted) and 2004 Con. The missile launcher was also used a few times, from left to right, 2004, Karate Chopper (missiles got cut up, don't ask), and the Stargate All-terrain Cruiser, or whatever it was called. Each one came with 4 missiles, not sure where my other 2 to the Street Fighter Karate Chopper went. |

I'm sure it would. It's large enough where the modern figures probably look more at place then the shorties. I'll take more pics after Zarana shows up. That and my battteries are nearly shot and I have to charge them overnight.

I have the one in the middle (Karate Chooper?). I dig the color scheme on both, though. The side gates always fall off.
But yep, the hold ME figures and even 3V ones. The ME figs legs hang off the turret chair, though

The side armor/gates and missiles are almost always missing from the OG Cycle and SF Karate Chopper. I got my Karate Chopper when it was new and made a mash-up custom of the two with a Sgt. Savage Machine Gun, cause I was also missing the Dreadnok gun.

I was going to paint the Doom cycle those colors, but it just doesn't compare to the original... so I might just pick one up. The Club still has them on their site for sale, but it's a bit more than I wanna spend right now. Probably just get the original.

Totally agree my original the turret is way small for modern figs. Hmm I need to try tunnel rat he might fit better then monkeywrench.
The con colors look cool. |

Got the two Zaranas the other day:
Here's my modified DANGER BLAST^ sticker. The top & bottom borders barely fit on the original. Now with the missile post relocated to the side, its hopeless. Most of the loose ones I've seen wrap this sticker around the back, whick looks pretty craptastic. Taking it for its inaugural spin: Big enough for 25th+ figures to enjoy, there is a lack of legroom in the back, though: |
