Recently picked up a 98% complete shuttle and booster off of eBay. I removed the stickers and gave the body a thorough cleaning. Bought a set of repro decals from Toyhax and here are the results!

She’s a beauty, how much did it set you back, if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve got a shell basically.

Has anyone removed the connector from the Defiant and attached it to the Crusader yet to switch out shuttles? (a junk Defiant shell)

I had the idea to do that years ago when I restored mine. Never actually got around to doing it though. I might need to revisit the idea if I can find a spare connector.

I picked up a 97% complete crawler/gantry over the weekend from Kokomo Toys in Indiana(awesome place). I removed the decals and cleaned it, here is the results. There are a few pieces I need to pick up to complete it, specifically the engine grill, a gun turret and Hardtop. The shuttle/booster are 100% complete including original umbilical. I have the new decals from Toyhax on the way. Pics of how it sits are below!

Not if you're not in a hurry. I bought a Terror Drome that was about 50% complete, and had it to 100% in like 2 years, for not that much. Be patient, dig through parts bins and watch ebay frequently. Also, find other in demand items and do some trading. I completed my childhood Flagg the same way. Got all the hard to find parts for maybe $100-150. It can be done.. I just got a defiant shell I am going to restore. Eventually..

There is no direct sun light through that window, so I would think it’s alright. I might put up a curtain or tint.
