I have some questions for you all. I found my old Defiant in a garage some of it looks to have broken due to age. Several of my parts are broken but for the most part it is pretty much intact.
1. Should I try and repair some of the broken parts by trying to weld the plastic? 2. What is the consensus to clean the defiant? Just water or Hydrogen Peroxide? 3. I found my beat up old Crusader shuttle but I want it to fit in with my Defiant. Do you think the stickers from toyhax.com would be good to use? |

I've seen some great things whitened and cleaned with peroxide, but at the same time I've heard the yellowing can come back even worse. I stick with soap and water. 3. The toyhax set is super nice. I just got a Crusader and was thinking about it since the stock decals are so plain and basic. I'm still debating it...

Since I never had a Defiant before and I am almost finished getting the pieces I need to finish (umbilical cord, revolving door, Hardtop's gun), I was wondering about the crank cover, I have seen some that are blank and others that say UP and DOWN, which was the original design?

Here's what I've been wondering, if you look back at all the defiant advertisements, when it's in the launch position it's standing straight up, but it doesn't actually go straight up when in the launch position.

I have seen that and they are probably preproduction images. I have never seen a Defiant go completely vertical

Hey, I remember that pic in the old insert catalog...I always thought that the Defiant launched completely upright as well, but I wouldn't know since I never owned one... *sigh*
I always wanted a Defiant so very badly. I imagined getting all of the Star Brigade figures to populate the set with and pilot the shuttles. And I don't want this to sound overly-sentimental and corny, but...I'm truly happy for you guys that actually have a Defiant. Perhaps it's an opportunity to live vicariously through you all when I read your posts and see pics. (lol) Seriously, congratulations, guys. I love seeing the near-mint and complete ones, and I'm excited for you guys that are restoring one.

I never had a Flagg or a Defiant and I didn't know anyone who did, no one had the room for them lol |

I’m on a mission for a defiant now. It’s the last of the holy grails I need. The search begins...
