It seems like the 87 through 89 figures were so fragile when it came to cracked elbows. Is it my figures or is this a common problem with most collectors. You have to be afraid to even touch the arms.

1983 is the worst.
They're so brittle it will shatter if you screw them too tight.* *Waits for the sex joke. |

yeah, in the begining, its thumbs and crotches. Had that problem settled in the mid 80's (unless hard play happened), but the late 80's the plastic is so soft. Very cheap.

Charbroils are hard to find without a cracked elbow.

Wow, I never noticed this problem, lol. I've seen broken crotches and thumbs, but not cracked elbows. You learn something new every day.

I see cracked elbows and such from all different years. I also hate how sometime the plastic around the rivet will stress and discolor, it might as well just be cracked. Breaking crotches and thumbs also depends on the figure itself. Tripwires are pretty bad, I broke a crotch on an V1 Duke the other night trying to put a new O-ring in, luckily I had a spare. V1 Zaps always have broken thumbs from kids trying to get that bazooka handle in their way too small hand.
