So yeah, the coloring of the weapons and the spring-loaded weapons are pretty bad, but that's what Marauder's is for.
The figures themselves, some of them were actually pretty good. I'm going thru YoJoe compiling my wishlist of vintage figures that I want and I'm surprised at how many from those years that I'm actually liking and wanting to get. The accessories, colors and size, suck, but the figures themselves (for the most part) actually aren't that bad. Some are bad (Cross Country, Beachhead). The Roadblock from '92 is actually very cool. I like that version alot. The Bazooka from '93 is cool. Accessories don't make the figure, as long as the figure looks good you can put any accessories you want.

I agree, I think "Most of the figures" accessories aside are decent - some are excellent.

I liked some of the figures i think i still have some. The only thing was the majority of them were realeased a varaint. I don't mind variants/repaints but i would like to wait a few years before they come out. This era may have been the start of their decline. I think the loud colors of the weapons were due to the fact that kids lost black and brown guns outside in the grass. The neon made it easy to find. If i remember correctly i think all toy manufacturers had to paint guns with orange on the tips back then. I guess hasbro went one step further and just made the whole weapon neon.

I quit when this stuff came out back in '92, now I'm picking it up on eBay for about $6 each. I have gotten nearly 20 MOC in the last month.

Agree with you about the Roadblock figure and some others... I wish they had just brought the vehicle's colors back to dark shades of green, black and blue!
...The sgt. Savage vehicles were pretty awesome overall!
