Do these exist anywhere? Maybe as part of a vehicle sheet or something? I know there are a couple places out there that remake the vehicle decals but anything for figures, i.e. Duke?

I honestly wouldn't know why you would want that particular sticker reproed. The figure is considered complete without it and most collectors want an original unattached and still on the backer. So only real ones would be warranted in a collection. Unless you actually want to have one to apply to the figure, it just isn't right. Even then, most don't have it so to have one with the sticker applied would just seem misled. IMO.

For me Duke just doesn't look right with out the Flag on his arm. Same thing goes for dress blues Gung-Ho with out the stickers it just looks off. I would love to have some repro Flag stickers not just for Duke but for some other Joes to. Especially if someone would make the subdued verisons for the different camo uniforms.

Mauleyes- Really its just for my personal collection. I'd just like to have it on the arm, like in the cartoon.

I agree with Gung-Ho marine dress blues in that he needs his stickers but the actual cost difference in aquiring a figure with stickers is not too far drastic from one without, so to get repro stickers I feel would be a wash. As for Duke, the only version that came with a sticker was the Mail-Away. So unless you collected from the beginning, the figure is not noticed to be gone. All the Dukes I have seen have not had the sticker. Most collections don't have it so why would the flag be "missing" if unapplied. I guess it is personal preference.
Side note: I do have 2 original flags with outer ring intact that was applied to 2 Mantas with good stickiness that I transfered over to a decal backer. So, I do have them in my collection. But, I do not feel a need to have the stickers reapplied to his arm. IMO. To each his own. If you are looking for a sticker, hasn't there been a similar size sticker already been included for one of the many 25th Ann vehicle decal sheets?

All good points. I did check out Cobrastickers but no luck there. I'll look into a 25th ann vehicle decal sheet.
I am glad I joined up here...I love all the Joe talk. |

Now that I think about it, a Modernized update of the vintage Duke would make a great mail-away. Since the 25th Duke had the butt crotch an update would be good. Why not make it a mail away that includes a flag sticker like the original. The sticker would be different than original but so you can apply the sticker like back in 83. I think it would be cool(you could then have a sticker to put on your vintage figure).

I do wish Cobrastickers.com would make various patches to go on the arms of figures, aside from just the ranks.
