So I finally got a TerrorDrome of my own, something Ive wanted since I was a kid.
Its not in the best shape so I need parts, Any ideas on where to find them apart from spending $30 on Evil Bay for the Cobra Plates alone? Also I notice the vehicles Ive come across have gathered a bit of dust. how do you guys clean the Vintage vehicles you get to avoid loosing the stickers? |

Be patient and find affordable auctions. I purchased mine for 20 dollars and have spent a additional $60 on parts and I am still in need of parts. My t-dome was missing a lot of parts. I am thinking about scratch building parts it my be cheaper.

Patience is my problem haha, Im happy I finally have one though, even if it is incomplete.
Scratch building seems like it would be cheaper, if only raginspoon or angel forge could cast some parts |

On sets with as many parts as the Terror Drome, it is almost never cheaper to buy a shell and then locate parts. Getting one that is 100% or one that only needs a few parts is far cheaper in the long run.

Congrats!
The Terror drome is one of the best paysets Hasbro has ever made. Agreed with above, keep an eye out for lots of parts. If you end up with extras you may be able to trade or re sell them to recoup the cost. Do you have the 2 main blue gun towers? If so you are off to a great start. If not its going to get expensive. :/ |

Here are pics of what I have:
I know I have to get the Blue Cobra plates and at least 1 gun. The gun I have is broken at the clips but I may be able to fix it with green stuff. |

Im almost wondering if its worth refurbishing or if I should do some custom work on it and turn it into a space station or something.

It looks like you've got most of the interior, and enough walls to make the outward facing side presentable. the blue gun platforms are the only 'spensive parts, the blue armored walls shouldn't be too bad.
