I have a vintage Tomahawk with a broken rotor shaft. Aside from sawing the fuselage in two to retrieve the broken piece is there any other way to totally disassemble the body?
If anyone has previous experience with sawing a Tomahawk apart I'd love to hear about how you did it and to what degree of success you were able to get it apart. Tips and suggestions are welcome. I'm just looking to super glue my rotor back together so I can give the chopper a good rehab. Thanks in advance!

The rotors that the blades attaches to will snap out without disassembling the body or shell. There is no shaft. You will have to put pressure on these suckers and turning while prying up is the only way. You may want to grease the edges first with vasoline or something similar to make it pop a bit easier.
Thanks for the info! Anyone else have stories or experience to share?

For me, what I did was I took an exacto knife to just the seam around the rotor and got it out that way. It's a PITA to do, but it is doable. You dont' want to pull the two halves apart, it'll likely break more things.
