Is the Brazil HQ a different shade of gray? I have seen tons of pics of them online and it sure looks like it, but I know how the camera can play with gray items.

I wish. I have been on a dry spell. But I love looking at this international stuff. Someday maybe I can have some good stuff!

After thinking about it Dan I guess I do consider him to be in the Tier 2 category. Not sure how many tier's there are beyond 2 really but here is what I think have been the toughest to find or most sought after:
Tier 1: Blue Hawk (packaged with Orange/Yellow MMS) Gung Ho olive drab (packaged with early random vehicle) Red Stalker Blue Short Fuse "Commando Force" figures (repainted Baroness, yellow Lady Jaye etc.) There maybe some other unknowns out there that were packaged in vehicles that will surface at some point. Tier 2: Red Buzzer (blonde or black hair, was packaged both ways) Red/Yellow Beach Head Blue/Yellow Major Bludd Purple Ripper Portrait card early series figures (Zandar, Buzzer, Ripper, African American Iceberg, Beach Head, Chuckles etc.) Tier 3: Emerald Zap Blue Snake Eyes Clutch-light or dark green, also possible variant with different head Sgt. Smasher Yellow Torpedo Reverse Tattoo Gung Ho Street Hawk (Snake Eyes) Keep in mind that this list is by rarity but also by variation. A lot of the "regular" colored Funskool figures are by far harder to find but may not cost as much on the secondary market (examples are African American Iceberg, Black Snake Eyes etc.).

Just wanted to contribute something to the selling of the funskool stuff(and cgi uk). More to ventilate my frustration I guess.
The guy can't be trusted, I found out personnally. and I'm way to naive. since the first time he posted I made several deals with him. And each time there was something. many times I needed to wait very long before he could contact me back to close the deal. And I believe what he said why that was, but I'm furious that after letting me waiting so incredibly long, he trows them on ebay. I contacted him and he said I was right and asked me what I proposed. Then again no sign of him except one message today. Saying he regrets it we couldn't make a deal! If he said that a half of a year ago, I could continue with collecting without keeping money aside for his stuff. The nice stuff I let go for him... it all makes me so angry. That's also the reason I didn't bid on his stuff, I didn't wanted to rise the prices on these for others. This all may sounds a bit "lame", but the frustrations I had with this... Just needed to say it. |
