Starting from scratch.

I have been looking for a hobby other than video games and I found it! I was 9 years old when I started playing with GI Joes and had quite a few. Unfortunately in high school I let an art student borrow them for modeling and haven't seen them since.

My first Joe as of this week is...

Vintage Gi Joe Dusty 100 Complete | eBay

This weekend I bought

1984 Gi Joe Baroness 100 Complete | eBay

and

1985 Gi Joe Tomax and Xamot 100 Complete | eBay

Not sure if I got a good deal but I feel like a kid again!

I hope to get to know you guys more and actually have something worthwhile to post about in the coming months!

Welcome! I think you did good on your auctions, those are very fair prices. The more you look around, You'll start to find some kind of medium on prices for each figure, just takes time. In the end tho, figs are only worth what your willing to pay for them but there is still some kind of price range category you can stick each fig in. Anyway Im sure you will enjoy the tank, lots of good people on here.

Welcome to the Tank. There are a lot of great folks on these boards and inside the community. You will have loads of fun. The ARAH stuff was seriously great as a kid and is still pretty fantastic compared to some modern stuff.

Yes. Try and stay away from army building (if you can), beware of ebay snipers and look through the BST lists here for better prices.

Check out the 25th and PoC versions of those figures, I think you will like the updates. Love the articulation, myself.

And welcome to the Joe font of knowledge!
