I don't dare try to lower the landing gear on my 1984 Cobra Rattler, but I still want to display it. Can anybody recommend a good display stand that works well with the Rattler?

For me, fishing line from the ceiling... I know it's not for everyone, but that's how I roll...

Fishing line suspended from cup hooks works well. If you have to put it on a shelf, you could use some foam blocks, and use acrylic paint to match your shelving. Or upside down shotglasses and museum tape/putty to hold it in place.

There was a online toy supply website that used to sell stands to display model airplanes and flying machines. Idk if they sell those anymore. I'll see if I can find them.

Found it.
FlightPose - Adjustable Display Stand for Model Aircraft and Collectibles I found these originally on rebelscum.com. They were using then to display SW vehicles.

Hobby Master does 1:32 aircraft display stands. They're metal with an adustable top to get different in-flight looks. Should hold a Rattler.

If you want really simple, I cut 2 pieces of foam so they fit snuggly along the centre line holding the toy about an inch from the surface, works really well!
