3DJoes.com / updates thread I just finished adding the 1985 figures. Check em out! 1985 was a prolific year, with 28 new figures. Personally, I think 1985 was the pinnacle of G.I. Joe design. The Twins, Tomax & Xamot, had the best packaging of the entire line. Snake Eyes and Timber had the coolest card art, and Snow Serpent had the best sculpt of the entire line. This year is just amazing. 1985 was the year I fell in love with G.I. Joe for life.* Relive them now in 3D!* 1985 Overview - 3DJOES |
What an awesome site! |
You're site is awesome! You are a god among men. |
Very nice, already bookmarked as a referance tool. |
This is a great site! I just found out about it the other day. |
Holy crap that's a time consuming process you have there, but what a great resource. Thank you for creating this and the time cost of doing it. |
You guys are awesome! Thanks for the support. Really, it means a lot. Please bookmark the home page and check back often for updates. I've been rolling out new content weekly, and hope to keep that pace up. It is indeed time consuming, and a little pricey, but it's been my goal to complete the collection and then find a way to share it. I was considering a brick-n-mortar store for a while, as well as a traveling exhibit. Hell, I drug $30,000 worth of AFA/MOC figures down to JoeCon in New Orleans just to share. Then, I found the 3D photography technique and decided the web was the best way to share 'em. So again, thanks for the support and be sure to check back weekly! Carson 3DJoes.com |
I'll totally use it for reference on my customs. The BEST part is that you have them all geared up right off the bat. I'm not sure why all the other reference sites insist on striping them down naked as the first picture you see. |
