The 1986 Toyfair catalog is up!
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=58395c77ee I wonder what happened to all of the collars featured on the 1986 prototypes? |

Zandar and Zarana looked so much better painted, than with the color changing plastic.

I love that bat, it's so different from the production figure. That is the kind of figures I wish the club or had Hasbro had did back when the ARAH reissues were coming out.

Did you know: new banners on the Figure and Vehicle Overview pages put the package art front and center, animating through each figure and vehicle for that year. See one you want to check out? Click the banner and it’ll take you to the corresponding page!

Collecting the Art of G.I. Joe Volume 6: 1993-1994 arrived in today's mail. Wow! What a wonderful job you've done on it.
I'm not a fan of the art from the later years, and yet this is probably one of the better books in this collection. Magnificent how great the slipcase turned out! It's obvious you spared no expense in having it made. I was expecting a flimsy cardboard material, but the sturdy material reminds me of the Convention box set cases sold by the collector's club. A true gemstone for any G.I. Joe collection, this 6 volume set and slip case is not to be missed. I imagine these will sell very well at the convention next week, and your table will be very busy! Congratulations on the completion of this epic project.

We spent every nickel of the Kickstarter money and then some to make sure we did this right, so it is incredibly fulfilling to hear from happy backers like you! Thanks again for the kind words. |

Volume 6 came home to me as well. I can't tell you how much you've made me and countless others appreciate the artwork that was surely taken for granted as kids' stuff back in the day.
I'm hoping this doesn't mark the end of your volumes and that there is still more material to be found and put together. Thank you, RoG

LOL, Jeff.
In all seriousness, I'm sure I'll find a way to keep the passion projects going :-) The immediate plan is to finish the 1990-1994 vehicle archive, then make the V5 and V6 iBooks. Those two tasks will likely take me (us) through 2018. |
