lol I tried to rotate the Mudfighter in that picture.
Great update, I loved the Mudfighter. I can still remember getting it for my birthday in 89, my Grand Ma got it for me. Good memories! |

Vehicle week is coming! Starting next Monday (3-20-17) and running through the weekend, we will roll out the rest of the 1988-1989 Vehicles, one per day. For a sneak peek of what's coming, check out the 88 and 89 overview pages: 1988 Overview - 3DJOES 1989 Overview - 3DJOES We are thrilled to be getting traction on the vehicle archive once again, and very pleased with the improved quality of the archiving using the new backdrop, new lights and revised vehicle process. Get ready for some big ones!!! |

Hiss Tankers! had to stop by to talk about the 3D Joes Hama panel at NC Oak City Comic Con this past weekend. Its the first time Larry has been in NC in 30 years!
3D Joes delivered the BEST Hama panel I have ever seen! So many props used like Giant Comic Covers, Sideshow statues, Gentle Giant Huge Vintage Joes. And so many great slides that allowed Larry to point out some of the finer details that I had never heard before! I can't wait till 3D Joes releases it! |

Vehicle week has begun!
All of this week and through the weekend we will roll out the rest of the 1988-1989 Vehicles, one per day. Today's vehicle is the 1989 Arctic Blast! This two-wheeled behemoth is powered by a 225 HP LFV-30 turbodiesel engine and features 30 MM “Chain Gang” gatling guns and side-mounted avalanche-class “Cool Cruiser” surface to surface missiles. Vehicle week rolls on!
Cobra H.I.S.S. II - 3DJOES The Cobra H.I.S.S. II sports the familiar rotating gun turret of the original H.I.S.S., but with a tri-barreled cannon upgrade and new pivoting side guns and missiles. The cockpit is expanded to fit two figures, and the sliding rear compartment holds up to four more! All of this week and through the weekend we will roll out the rest of the 1988-1989 Vehicles, one per day, so check back in for daily updates! |

Great work, as usual.
Hasbro didn't explain what HISS stands for anywhere on the HISS II's box or instructions. The commercial shows an odd figure in the HISS II troop compartment. Dark or black body and steal/grey head. Cannot make it out. TARGAT in different colors? I know they used prototypes for the commercials. |

Vehicle week rolls on!
Darklon's Evader - 3DJOES Darklon was the next in a long line of key Cobras sold with an alpha (or lower price point) vehicle. Like Zartan, Serpentor and Destro v2 before him, Darklon was a completely new sculpt with detailed paint apps, and he came with one heck of a gun. Darklon's Evader features a "clam shell" styled canopy armed with two surface-to-surface missiles and two removable machine guns. Come back tomorrow for more Iron Grenadiers! |
