I hope so too! I plan to pitch Hasbro on opening the vault to me for another project. Wish me luck! |

I have it on good authority that 3DExoSquad is up next, followed by 3DNinjaTurtles and 3DPalisadesArmlessJoeBusts.

Those armless beauties are almost all already documented!
If anyone on HissTank has the missing variants (Ninja Viper, Red Baroness, Quarrel, etc) hit me up! I'll pay for shipping both ways to help complete the Palisades statuary. |

Is another poster (figures and/or vehicles) KS still in the mix? I just want to know if I should move on with my remaining wall space, or continue to hold out.

That’s a great question, and one I hope to have an answer for in another week. I’ll be sure to post here with the decision either way.

I got my volumes 5 & 6 and slip case in and they are glorious! The slipcase is amazing and all 6 volumes fit nice and snug in it. Such a great collection of art.
Tremendous and excellent job to all of those involved! I was a little disappointed Volume 6 didn't have scans of the Street Fighters figures (unless I missed them), since those technically are considered part of the 1993 GI Joe line. I would have favored those and close ups of the Star Brigade shared card art figures over the international stuff. I know a lot had to be done so these could be ready for JoeCon this year and we technically got Volume 6 six months early but I just feel Volume 6 was rushed a bit.

I know a lot had to be done so these could be ready for JoeCon this year and we technically got Volume 6 six months early but I just feel Volume 6 was rushed a bit. Regarding Street Fighter, they were never part of the G.I.Joe universe: they were not featured in the ARAH comics, cartoons (obviously, since the DIC cartoon had ended by then), or even written into the Joe universe on the filecards. So, in my Joe universe, they simply don't exist. Also, where would they stop? YoJoe includes the SF2 1993 figures in the Joe lineup: https://www.yojoe.com/action/93/ But YoJoe doesn't include the Street Fighter Movie figures released in 1994, explaining "the Street Fighter Movie figures are not considered G.I.Joe figures." https://www.yojoe.com/action/94/ Well, in my 3DJoes archiving world, NO Street Fighter figures are considered G.I.Joes. They aren't featured on 3DJoes, they aren't on my posters, and they aren't in my books. I'm sorry that made you feel like the books were incomplete. We spent over 400 hours on Volume 6, so while it was completed on a compressed schedule (only 17 weeks!), it was in no way rushed. We took the same slow, laborious, dedicated approach that we have to the wholke series and I actually believe Volume 6 is the best of the bunch! A sincere thank you for helping us complete the series! Carson |
