I hear that soaking storm Shadow in dip spit will clear the yellow and turn him to a dull brown. Were talking 3 tins of kodiak and a 2 liter bottle of pepsi. Got to be $17 max!!!! What a Bargain!!

In closing i know im late to this post however i only leave this info for newer people that may not have seen this/know about this. I learned about this way before i joined any joe fourums as im a contractor and we used this method a few times to whiten old ceramic tile that had the glaze yellowed. never thought to use it on plastic and then saw a few videos on you tube. just rember if you use the 30% stuff check it very often, wear rubber gloves and dont get it on you. |

I'm going to try this on parts of my Flagg and crusader w/ a 30% solution mixed w/ water. If it doesn't work, I'm going to repaint them!

I like how this topic pops up every once in a while and folks think it's all new. Vintage computer guys/professional chemists in the UK are the ones who stumbled on this discovery quite a while ago. Here is the link to the original experiments, and some dabbling I did with figures in various shades of yellow:
The end of an experiment, and some pics for flavor Before you do any playing around with this stuff in higher concentrations, READ THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!!!!. This stuff can and will hurt you. |
