I see people with all these restoration kits on EBAY..Is this new? Do they label it as restoration and do they have to....Im starting to worry about buying MOC vintage Joes..

i havent seen them before either.
personally, i wouldnt want to recard a vintage figure. i dont buy moc vintage stuff either though, but i got a mean 25th moc collection.

I'm not sure about that particular seller. There is a group out there called Beggars Canyon Toys that has been selling resto kits ob eBay and through their own site for a little while now. I bought several from them. The quality of them is quite good. Hanging on a wall for display (which is how I use mine) you can't tell the difference. But up close they are easy to tell they are reproduction. The back of the package says "reproduction packaging" and you can see the use of double sided tape on the bubble. Yes, people could use these to scam others. But really buyers should use their brains. Getting a complete mint unpunched card from the 80s is nearly impossible to come by. If it is easy to get, it is likely a fake.
