I just got an email from AFA giving me the results of my first ever submission. To say I am pleased is an understatement! The Triple T almost caused me to have a heart attack, as that is my favorite piece in my entire collection. At 85, it is tied as the finest graded Triple T in the world. The only bad one is my Equalizer, which is in a nice case fresh box but has a price tag tear. Anyway, here it is:
1986 Sgt. Slaughter w/Triple T 85 (subs 90/90/85) 1988 Destros Despoiler 85 (subs 85/80/85) 1988 Destros Despoiler 85 (subs 85/80/90) 1989 Slaughters Marauders Equalizer 75 (no subs) 1989 Slaughters Marauders Lynx 85 (no subs) 2007 25th Anniversary Yellow Stalker 90 (subs 85/90/90)

Thank you I just sent off a bunch more stuff last week, including a DEMON, Dreadnok Cycle, AGP, bagged mail-in Slaughter, some vintage and 25th figures, and rock bubble Rattrap and Dinobot. Hopefully they all grade high.

Sweet results! I've contemplated sending some things in for grading, but haven't. You give me hope that I may have some luck in getting a good grade. Thanks for sharing!

Shiets, at 90 is really good. But I have been told a 95 is even better. I remember I got my Transformers Optimus Prime '84 and scored a 90! I was stoked!! It was the highest ever graded, according to AFA.
Needless to say, an offer of $8,500 bucks was kinda hard to pass up just before the TFM '07. That would have been my most prized item that I have ever owned! Congrats on your AFA! |

Please limit comments to the topic at hand, my results. I do not want this to degenerate into an "AFA sucks" thread like every other AFA themed thread does. Thanks.

I don't care what they think, its just that they stink up every thread with their anti-AFA nonsense. I get tired of the same old "I don't need anyone to tell me how good my toys are" line. Maybe some people do, and they are willing to pay for the service. So I don't want this thread becoming another sounding board for that whole argument.
Congrats on your Prime!
