Does anyone have any advice on how to take apart Ryu (Street Fighter figure from the late ARAH line)? He resembles the ARAH line perfectly, but does NOT have a back screw! I did not realize this when I purchased him on-line for a custom job. I'm not sure if this was the case with all 93-94 figures? I tried taking an exacto blade along the side/shoulders, but he is glued shut (factory). Any ideas??? I really want to make an ARAH custom Soft Master...

He's basically a Ninja Force figure. I don't think you can take them apart without damaging them.,I could be wrong though. I've seen Ken Masters take Ryu apart plenty of times

Here is a generic photo of the figure. I would pull out my camera and go through all that, but there is really nothing to show you but solid back--no screw hole. Otherwise, figure appears to be the same as most ARAH figures. I'm contemplating forced entry...

...and that method is? My plan is to cut the rubber band holding the figure together and stick screws up inside his waist as far as I can and hope for the best when I pull.

ok i will come out retirement again to help you with this methoid. it works for all thees type figs sf/ nf/ mk/ ive done it before you will need a good knife and thats about it. the torso should have 2 notches in it that fit into the waist. you will need to cut up on the seam on both sides of the notches, and sorta pry the 2 haves apart. and your done, but you will have to glue the torso back together if your still wanting to use it. as for the action attack stuff id just leave it out. this methoid does not work for the figs that dont have the waist notchs.
