You can also use a product called Goo Gone. Its made to remove adhesive residue. Its a oil based product and it will not harm the finish on your item. Once the sticker residue is off, you then just have to wash the area with some warm soapy water and your good to go. If you do not wash the area afterwards then the area that you used it will have an oily feel to it.

I've been using an all purpose cleaner that's got some bleach in it to clean my Flagg. (wal-mart generic) I haven't noticed any problems with using this and some rubbing alcohol on q-tips to get the nooks and crannys. Anyone run into any issues using cleaners like this?

Some tricks I picked up over the years.
Cleaning really dirt grimy vehicles, soap and water, with a tooth brush. A few things to be careful of. 1 decals. Sometimes the adhesive under the decals can leak out around the decals. If you have hard water/high mineral content a brown ring can form around the decal. Best thing to do is clean aroud the decal with goo gone and a Q-Tip. Its best to do this any ways. 2 don’t leave any thing out in the sun to dry. Bad ideal. I have seen sun damage happen in as little as 4-5 hrs in direct sunlight. (take note all you guys that display your Joes in a room that you have not blacken out the windows) Discoloration of the plastic. (I highly recommend you pick up some junk vehicles to practice this on before you tackle any thing you want to keep.) Some times the discoloration is only on the surface. So if you sand it down lightly with some very fine sand paper you can remove the discoloration. Now at this point, everyone is saying to them selves what about all the scratches left behind. Well there is are plenty of 3 step plastic polishes that will take care of that. Check out the web page below. This product describes how the process works, but there are plenty of brands out there that all work the same. Obviously you’ll have to remove all decals and replace them. Janvil Plastic Polish, Cleaner & Restorer Stress marks. Heating up the plastic gets rid of stress marks. Also like before get a piece of junk to practice on to get the technique down. Best thing to use for this is a heat gun like the one in the link below. Now before any of you cheapskates out there get the ideal to use a lighter to save a few bucks. Bad, not good lighters will leave carbon/burn marks on the plastic. The heat gun works best. hxxp://www.jackstoolshed.zoovy.com/product/40411?meta=FRG&utm_source=GBASE&utm_medium=CPC&utm _content=&utm_campaign= Just a few tips I learned over the years. ps Novuspolish is another brand of plastic polish that works well.

old tooth brush can be a bad ideal, there dirty and can cause a transfer of bacteria to the plastic that can lead to the plastic discoloring. A plain new tooth brush is better.

Well, I mostly use them with cleaning/striping old model cars.
They get really clean when using Castrol Super Clean... lol.. But yeah, using a new one would be best and they are cheap...
